Description

In the spring of 2012 the FoMu will start a series of exhibitions focusing on young Belgian photographers. The series opens with Sarah Carlier (BE, °1981) and Lara Mennes (BE,°1982), two photographers who are fascinated with how the past is visualized in present society. Carlier focuses on how people cling to tradition, Mennes carries a magnifying glass in her search of traces of the past in abandoned buildings.
